Whereoware is looking to hire a Senior Digital Marketing Manager. In this role you will be responsible for understanding business requirements and delivering high quality technical solutions that empower Marketing teams to utilize a Marketing automation platform.  Our projects range from  optimizing existing Marketing Automation platforms to support our clients' evolving marketing strategies to spearheading full platform migrations including integration discovery, design, and development.

You will act as the primary architect and technical lead on projects to scope and estimate workstreams, architect and model technical solutions to meet business requirements, serve as a technical expert in client communications, and mentor junior project team members. On a typical day, you might expect to participate in design sessions, perform setup and configuration activities in a clients Marketing automation instance, design and build integrations and automations, and advise client marketing teams on Marketing platform best practices. You may also work closely with other members of the technology practice to design software supporting data integrations into and out of marketing platforms.  Additionally, you will seek out new business development opportunities at existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Translate business and marketing challenges into well-designed solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal development team to determine best path for Marketing platform implementations and customer journeys.
  • Expertise around marketing automation systems including, strategic program design, systems optimization, data hygiene standards, automation, and process documentation.
  • Stay in tune with latest Marketing Automation platform technology updates, changes, community, and roadmap(s).
  • Understand the ins and outs of complex technology environments and know how to optimize solutions for efficiency and simplicity
  • Enjoy teaching and coaching the team on how to best use Marketing Automation
  • Maintain and document technical processes and marketing automation procedures
  • Fluent and professional communication for both technical and non-technical audiences along with the ability to work with business stakeholders to provide solutions and regular updates

Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more leading marketing automation vendors like Acoustic Campaign and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience building solutions on the SFMC platform: Cloud Pages, Smart Forms, Web Collect, Collect Tracking, Email Studio, Social Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Audience Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation studio
  • Ability to elicit requirements and translate into recommendations on how to implement appropriate solutions within SFMC and/or Acoustic based to technical solutions
  • Familiarity with data architecture design and analysis, data integration design and development, IP warming strategy, and multi-channel marketing orchestration within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Acoustic platform
  • Develop responsive email templates with extensive knowledge of AMPscript and Guide Template Language
  • Must be comfortable both designing and implementing technical solutions within the platform, including the use of SSJS, AMPScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Experience implementing automated solutions utilizing Marketing Cloud Server-Side Java Script (SSJS)
  • Master with SQL and robust understanding of Marketing Cloud’s contact data model
  • Experience with web service integration (REST/SOAP)
  • 5+ years of experience as a marketing cloud developer
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team
  • Strong background in agile SCRUM agile practices and associated tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack, etc.)
  • Willingness to serve in both hands-on technical and strategic roles, as well as assist with expertise on scoping and pitching future engagements
  • Current Salesforce Certifications preferred: Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Developer, and Marketing Cloud Consultant
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form).
