We’re looking for a self-motivated and dependable Groundskeeper to join our team in the Nicholasville-Versailles, KY area. The Groundskeeper is responsible for ensuring that the grounds of the community are attractive, orderly, and healthy. Will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
Employment Type: Full-Time (32 hours per week, 4 days a week).
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday).
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour. .
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Groundskeeping experience preferred, but not required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work outdoors.
- Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
- Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
- Assists with maintenance work orders.
- Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
- Other related tasks.
