Winterwood, Inc., is a family-owned property management company with over 40 years of experience in the industry.           

We are looking to hire a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Cynthiana-Millersburg, KY area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance needs of the property and units. Responsible for the grounds upkeep, trash cleanup, unit turns and clean outs, minor plumbing, electrical, painting and cleaning of units.  Responsible for daily work orders and monthly smoke alarm and filter changes. Maintenance Technicians must provide their own tools and have reliable transportation.             

Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours a week).        

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (7.5 hours per day).            

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour with potential for a pay increase after 90 days, based on performance. In addition, we are offering a one-time $500 sign-on bonus.            

Qualifications/Requirements:           

• Previous experience in property or apartment maintenance required.
• Knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall repair, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license. 
• After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities:           

• Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
• Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
• Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
• Other related tasks, as assigned.
