Winterwood, Inc., is a family-owned property management company with over 40 years of experience in the industry.

We are looking to hire a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance needs of the property and units.  Responsible for the grounds upkeep, trash cleanup, unit turns and clean outs, minor plumbing, electrical, painting. Responsible for daily work orders and monthly smoke alarm and filter changes. Maintenance Technicians must provide their own tools and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.    

Property/Address: Overlook at Elkhorn Creek Apts. - 101 Overview Path, Georgetown, KY 40324.  

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours a week).

Work Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.  

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour, plus a monthly cell phone reimbursement, and a one-time $500 sign-on bonus.   

Qualifications/Requirements:  

• Previous experience in property or apartment maintenance. 
• Knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall repair, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Basic computer skills.
• After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders. 
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities:  

• Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
• Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
• Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
• Other related tasks, as assigned.
