We’re looking to hire a part-time Property Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Ft. Branch, Indiana area. The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for building and grounds cleaning and maintenance. Qualified candidates will have previous apartment or property maintenance. Must have basic experience of painting, plumbing and general repairs.  

Property Name/Address: Rainwood Apartments - 600 South Hull, Ft. Branch, IN 47648. 

Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week). 

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour, plus a one-time sign-on bonus of $250 and cell phone reimbursement. 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous property or apartment maintenance experience.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electric, etc. 
  • Basic computer skills.
  • After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb ladders.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
  • Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Ability to travel to Lexington, KY for training. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
  • Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
  • Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
  • Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
  • Other related tasks, as assigned.
