We are looking to hire a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Earlington, Kentucky area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance needs of the property and units. Responsible for the grounds upkeep, trash cleanup, unit turns and clean outs, minor plumbing, electrical, painting. Responsible for daily work orders and monthly smoke alarm and filter changes. Maintenance Technicians must provide their own tools, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours a week).
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Pay Rate: $17/hr. per hour, plus cell phone reimbursement and a one-time sign-on bonus of $500.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous property, apartment or general maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, dry-wall repair, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
- Basic computer skills.
- After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
