Assistant Product Marketing Manager - KODA

We are looking for an Assistant Product Marketing Manager to join our KODA team. Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager – KODA, this role will support the development, launch, and ongoing management of KODA products while gaining hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Support product planning and marketing activities, including product development, costing and pricing, packaging, merchandising, promotions, e-commerce, and product launches.
  • Manage assigned product and program initiatives from development through launch.
  • Conduct competitive and market research, including regular retail store visits and online research, to evaluate products, pricing, packaging, merchandising, competitive activity, and market trends.
  • Analyze consumer, customer, competitive, sales, cost, margin, and product information and develop recommendations for product positioning, pricing, and marketing.
  • Develop packaging briefs and coordinate packaging, manuals, merchandising materials, and product content with Design and Product Development.
  • Set up and manage product content across our websites and major retailer e-commerce platforms, including Lowe's, Home Depot, Costco, and other retail partners.
  • Monitor online product performance, availability, and inventory needs and work with internal teams to address opportunities or issues.
  • Gather and analyze consumer feedback, product reviews, and recurring product questions to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support retailer line reviews, presentations, trade shows, promotional programs, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate product samples and supporting materials for retailer meetings, line reviews, presentations, and trade shows.
  • Work with appropriate teams to ensure applicable regulatory, compliance, and product liability requirements are addressed during product development and launch.
  • Develop strong product and technical knowledge and partner with Customer Service to provide product training, technical information, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Design, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and other teams to successfully execute product initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Product Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, brand marketing, e-commerce, or a related field preferred. Relevant internship or other applicable experience may be considered.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, exercise sound judgment, and develop recommendations.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate product features, specifications, and technical information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and comfort working with data.
  • Experience with consumer products, retail, e-commerce, packaging, or new product launches is a plus.
  • Ability to travel locally to retail locations for regular market and competitive visits, with occasional travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and other business needs.

Pay range = $75K-$90K/year
