We are currently looking for Director of Sales responsible for developing and managing key growth sales strategies to further develop our automotive accessories business segment at Costco, one of our most valuable customers.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales goals and financial objectives
  • Develop and execute sales strategic, tactical and action plans to continue to drive sales volume and expand on product categories
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop sales and inventory forecast
  • Work closely with operations teams to assist with operational challenges and issues
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs, their processes, and objectives
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and latest trends meeting customer’s requirements
  • Manage sales reporting and data to be able to make buy recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to help Identify new product development opportunities within different categories that meet both the customer, and our company needs
  • Effectively communicate our brand and product value proposition through proposals and sales presentations
  • Continue to build and maintain strong, long-lasting key customer relationships

 

Competencies:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience selling to large US retail chains. And must also have significant experience selling to Costco USA.
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets as a senior manager or director level
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
