Senior Project Manager
Description
As Senior Project Manager, you will work within Windward’s client in their Cybersecurity organization to plan, monitor and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion according to PMI Best Practices and the client’s Cyber PMO Playbook and Management Models.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and use internal systems as required (ServiceNow PPM, AS9, SailPoint).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
- Create and maintain Stakeholder Register and Analysis Document.
- Ensure stakeholder review and buy-in of intermediate and final project deliverables.
- Create Project Plan using Microsoft Project (P6 acceptable) that includes tasks, duration, predecessors and successors, and resources.
- Monitor activities daily related to the project, including subcontractor monitoring.
- Create, manage, and distribute project artifacts like charters, schedules, status, and risks.
- Plan and lead status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and businesses.
- Create Organization Change Management plan and execute it.
- Communicate routinely to management, businesses, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively soliciting and addressing project team feedback.
- Establishes key project metrics.
- Manage Risk register and mitigations.
- Coordinate and drive resolutions of technical and operational issues.
- Ensures change management processes are followed.
Minimum Qualifications and Attributes:
- At least five years of project management experience with demonstrated ability to:
- Manage complex technical projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Resolve conflicts
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Communicative at all organizational levels
- Respect diversity
