Provide subject matter expertise and trusted advice on ServiceNow ITSM functionality, ensuring alignment with platform best practices.
- Design, configure, and implement core ITSM capabilities including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow solutions, including workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and Flow Designer, to support end-to-end service delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders to define and improve ITSM processes while guiding solution design, architecture, and implementation through technical discussions and workshops.
- Support end-to-end delivery including sprint planning, testing, deployments, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and IntegrationHub to enable seamless data exchange.
- Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, including maintainability, scalability, and upgrade readiness.
- Identify opportunities to improve ITSM processes and automate manual tasks to increase efficiency.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Alignment with DoD 8570/8140 baseline requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of ServiceNow development or technical consulting experience.
- Proven experience delivering at least one full-cycle ServiceNow ITSM implementation.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow platform architecture.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations and API-based data exchange.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing effectively to a team-based environment.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Additional ServiceNow certifications in areas such as CSM or SPM
- Remote
