ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of the Edge Product Management team, you will support the aggregation of input from external customers, sales, market research, fellow product managers, partners, etc., and assist in defining what will transform mission-critical edge computing from an operating system and hardware enablement perspective.

You will contribute to existing projects and roadmap elements, collaborating with other product managers on the team who own other parts of our commercial Linux offering.

You will assist in writing requirements, justifying investments, prioritizing the backlog, conducting market research, analyzing the competition, collaborating with the sales teams on key deals, reviewing defects, engaging with extended teams, and evangelizing our stacks both internally and externally.

You will work in close partnership with experienced Engineering and Product Management teams.

 

ABOUT YOU

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a product analyst or business analyst role, preferably with a focus on software or technology products.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools to ensure efficient and iterative product development.
  • Strong analytical abilities with excellent written and oral communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to assist in moving between product services, marketing strategy, and technical discussions.
  • Willingness to learn and develop expertise in product management.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts such as security, containerization, orchestration concepts, and cloud technologies (containers, Kubernetes, etc.) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Compensation                

The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is currently $75,000 to $95,000 plus a bonus for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $ to $ plus a bonus for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC, residents. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in this role are also eligible for the following benefits in accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to enroll in 401k, and 12 paid holidays.
