Who You Will Work With:
The successful candidate will join a highly skilled "Helix Virtualization Platform" development team delivering mission critical Real-Time Operating System for avionics and automotive applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high quality design and code.
- Develop and deliver high quality documentation used for DO-178 certification evidence.
- Ability to review DO-178 artifacts and provide guidance to conform to Certification standards
- Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development process using Agile development.
Qualifications/Skills:
- BSc / MSc degree (Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree).
- Must be a local resident of Ottawa, CN area with ability to legally work without any type of visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- More than 8 years of relevant technical experience in software development.
- Ability to technically lead the team during development of features.
- Strong analytical skills in the C programming language.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent programming skills using Python and Linux shells scripts.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience with RTOS software development a plus.
- Exceptional team player who works well in collaborative environments.
- Self-managed, fast learner with the desire and ability to master new technologies.
- Familiarity with iterative and agile/scrum software development processes.
- Certification experience is beneficial.
- ARM/Intel/RISC-V SoC Experience is a plus.
- Experience with Virtualization is advantageous.
