ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Wind River is seeking an experienced high-performing Technical Licensing Compliance Lead to help analyze license usage across Wind River’s global customer base to apply a pragmatic, data-driven approach in creating a positive customer and sales experience. 

The successful candidate will join a Global License Compliance team responsible for engaging with Wind River’s customer base to better understand how customer’s use of Wind River’s development software aligns with the terms and conditions of their agreements.

The ideal candidate is a confident self-starter, extremely analytical and capable of driving action with an understanding of the strategic big picture of managing successful customer relationships.

 Interface & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with all levels across multiple internal Wind River teams (Deal Desk, Legal, Sales, Product Management, etc.)
  • Play an integral role, supporting the execution and growth of the Global License Compliance team and additional company-wide initiatives around licensing.
  • Work with all levels across multiple functions of Wind River’s global customers (Engineering, Procurement, etc.).

 Key Accountabilities & Expectations

  • Execution and support of software license reporting requirements across Wind River’s global customer base
  • Assess customer compliance against software license agreements
  • Perform data analysis and summarize large data sets extracted from multiple systems and databases
  • Educate and support customers on Wind River licensing and contractual obligations
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on the status of customer’s reporting obligations
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Wind River customers and internal teams

 

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of DevOps working experience
  • Strong understanding of Software licensing
  • Excellent analytical skills with significant knowledge and experience in Excel
  • Experience working closely with Engineering teams
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously with different timelines while effectively delivering complete and accurate results on schedule
  • Experience working with and supporting customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member with a high degree of accountability
  • Passionate self-starter with the dedication and perseverance to solve for the unknown
  • Structured, logical and creative thinking who can easily present clear, well-thought-out solutions and recommendations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps development methodologies including an understanding of tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
  • Understanding of IT configurations for On-Prem and Cloud
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of dealing with conflicting priorities with ease
  • BS/BA in Information Systems or Computer Science
