Wilsonart currently has an opening for an Office Manager for our Houston Metro.  This role will Supervise all office functions in the assigned department/location.

JOB SUMMARY
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
            Oversees daily activities of office personnel.
            Oversees the accounting and inventory control functions. 
            Oversees the preparation of all required documentation for shipments. 
            Performs sales analysis and other financial analysis.
            Coordinates production schedule for top shop to meet customer demand.
            Coordinates shipping/receiving functions.
            Oversees the maintenance of customer credit, rebate, & pricing files.
            Approves return material requests and credits.
            Orders finished products. 
            Works closely with local management to assist the needs of the customer.
            Performs basic human resources functions.
            Performs other tasks as required.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
            Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
            Knowledge of inventory control and basic accounting principles. 
            Knowledge of products marketed.
            Knowledge of computers sufficient to utilize word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
            Ability to lead people and manage multiple projects.
            Ability to communicate well in oral and written forms at all levels of  the organization
            Ability to operate office machines.
            Ability to organize and prioritize administrative activities.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing or related field.  Applicable experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
 
EXPERIENCE:  Four years of experience which includes inventory control, distribution, and/or billing/credit experience. 
 
WORKING CONDITIONS
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.
 
ENVIRONMENT: Located in a comfortable indoor area.
