JOB SUMMARY
  Obtain raw materials to be collated at specified lengths as determined by the Product Quality Department.  Make sure machine is running properly at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Using a clamp lift to obtain rolls needed for the collator.
2. Visually inspect rolls for damage, discard any damaged paper in the appropriate waste can.
3. Thread machine up; make splices and rethread machine as needed.
4. Set up rolls for oncoming crew.
5. Ability to learn to back up the collator operation position.
6. Offload completed pallets from the Collators and take to proper storage location using a HUBTEX side load lift
7. Regular Attendance Required.
Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
1. Operation of equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
2. Have good computer skills and the ability to learn the Oracle computer system.
3. Knowledge of the safety standards applicable to the production areas and other pertinent rules/regulations   
   governing work standards. 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:  
High School Graduate or GED or equivalent combination of education and work history
EXPERIENCE:  
1 year + of related experience, preferably manufacturing/industrial experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  
Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (>50 lbs) Examples: grounds staff and EMS 
ENVIRONMENT:  
Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness. Examples: engineering, waste mgt, laundry workers and yards/grounds staff
