Wilsonart is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast.  Candidate must reside within the territory and be commuting distance to a major airport.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate selling strategies.
  • Acts as a liaison between the sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Assist the Regional Manager with Independent Distribution relationships and establish annual business plans to ensure sales goals and performance objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Work with sales team to target specific accounts for new product sales or increased penetration of existing sales.
  • Develop and analyze sales reports to determine where both growth and decline in sales is occurring.
  • Implement price increases and react to competitive activity with proper documentation.
  • Coordinate/Follow-up with internal sales team to gain new customers.
  • Accurately report and drive market/customer opportunities for the business
  • Lead & Inspire a team consisting of Specification Representatives & Sales Representatives (Demand Creation)
  • Talent Management: Develop Current Team, Build Bench Strength, Identify & Address Underperformers. Hire, On-Board & Develop New Team Members
  • Deliver on Annual Revenue
  • Set & Hold Team Accountable for Annual Performance Objectives
  • Drive growth agenda: Project Tracking Reviews & Execute Marketing Calendar
  • Demand Creation: Build Opportunity Pipeline through Target Projects, Target Accounts and Erosion Recapture
  • Develop Customer Base, Regional Sales and Marketing Programs

EDUCATION:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; 1yr experience may substitute for 1yr of degree

EXPERIENCE:  

  • 4+ years of outside sales experience
  • 1+ year of sales management experience.
  • Experience in a similar industry to Wilsonart is a plus.
  • Experience running a regional distribution facility servicing independent distribution partners is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS  
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting in the same location of standing/walking; required to stoop, climb or lift light material (10-20lbs) or equipment.  
 ENVIRONMENT: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Examples: executive, management and support positions
