Position Overview:

Perform the clerical duties of the Melamine, Phenolic, and Assembly cells.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and close cell WIP jobs daily (Phenolic, Melamine, Assembly, Finished Goods and Low Pressure).
  • Inventory – Cycle Count – Deco and Phenolic Rolls (receive, enter, and reconcile variances).
  • Inventory – Cycle Count – International Paper consignment oracle transactions
  • Inventory – Cycle Count – Patt Rack
  • Inventory Adjustments – Inventory reconciliation for HP and LP chemicals and roll inventory. (Monthly)
  • Pattern Rack Min/Max review (Monthly)
  • Review all end of month physical inventory results for successful completion. Ensure all processes are finished.
  • Assist with slow moving disposition (SLOB) when needed.
  • Inventory and WIP of farm out mgmt. of LP and New Leaf Performance Veneer.
  • Work with the color lab & purchasing regarding defective roll inventory transactions
  • Support the accounting team with annual 3rd party audit for raw materials / sub-assembly inventory.
  • Extract system reports, put into spreadsheets and sent to supervisors & managers (requires Tableau) (Monthly)
  • Accountable and responsible for all inventory adjustments/transactions within the department.
  • Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the Distribution Center and other pertinent rules / regulations governing work standards.
  • Applicants must have knowledge of basic inventory control principles to maintain business objectives with high customer service levels.
  • Competent computer skills sufficient to utilize email, spreadsheets, databases and proper file management.
  • Ability to communicate well in oral and written form is necessary.
  • Must have or obtain thorough knowledge of Finished Goods and Shipping operations
  • Knowledge of scheduling and truck calendar
  • Knowledge of the finished product types, patterns and finishes.
  • Ability to perform multiple priorities.

Education and Certifications:

High School Graduate or GED

Preferred 2+ years’ experience

Working Conditions:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standing or sitting in the same location may require stooping, climbing or lift light material (<10lbs) or equipment. Examples: programmers, receptionists, medical technologists, dishwashers and security guards

ENVIRONMENT:

Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers and food service workers

Work Hours:

Standard hours are day shift, Monday through Friday. You must be flexible to adjust the hours.
