Administrative Coordinator II
Wilsonart, in Bethpage, currently has an opening for an Administrative Coordinator II. As a Wilsonart Administrative Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, and a crucial member of our team. We are looking for a self-driven and customer focused individual to handle incoming/outgoing calls and emails with a blend of professionalism and care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries, order entry, electronic filing, resolving customer needs, and fulfilling requests with precision and adherence to our internal policies and procedures. You will work directly with customers as well as perform a variety of other administrative tasks, as required. This position involves extensive data entry into our internal system. Performs other tasks as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform duties in accordance with specific instructions and established work methods
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of internal policies, procedures, and services, encompassing both departmental and operational aspects
- Efficiently utilize internal systems for logging and retrieving information, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
- Process orders and inquiries from customers through various channels such as telephone, email, or in person, delivering responses within specified turnaround times
- Respond to telephone inquiries and complaints promptly, accurately, and courteously, adhering to standard operating procedures
- Investigate and resolve customer problems, escalating challenging situations to the appropriate party when necessary
- Meet or exceed standards for call volume and service level as per department guidelines
- Build collaborative relationships within the organization
- Performs other tasks as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Skilled in resolving non-routine questions and problems
- Skilled in operating office machines
- Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook
- Ability to multi-task while remaining organized
- Ability to follow directions, take notes, and self-start.
- Bi-Lingual is a plus (English/Spanish)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
High School Graduate or GED plus 90 semester hours of college in Business Administration or a closely related field
EXPERIENCE
3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting in the same location or standing/walking; required to stoop, climb or lift light material (10-20lbs) or equipment.
ENVIRONMENT: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Examples: executive, management and support positions
PAY RATE: $23.53/hour
