ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive all material from the manufacturing facilities and vendors
- Check and place materials in the correct bin
- Check material against the manifest and report discrepancies
- Inform supervisor and photograph all defective materials
- Cut down over-sized laminate and core to fill pending orders
- Read, interpret, process, and pack orders
- Assist the needs of the customer
- Ability to learn inventoried materials
- Ability to learn packing techniques
- Ability to learn proper material handling techniques
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to drive a lift truck
- Ability to read and understand customer orders
- Ability to learn to operate a panel saw
- Ability to operate a forklift boom and clamp
- Ability to move and handle stone product
- 1+ years of work experience in a warehouse setting
- Experience operating a forklift and moving material is required.
