JOB SUMMARY
The Product Coordinator is a pivotal role within the distribution business, serving as the linchpin between product strategy and execution. This hands-on position requires a dynamic individual who can collaborate effectively with various departments including finance, IT, operations, and distribution managers, with a focus on enhancing the performance and reach of non-company products. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating strategic vision into actionable plans, ensuring that products align with regional market demands, are available across the network, and contribute to the company’s growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Implement product development goals, milestones, budgets, and timelines in alignment with the product manager’s vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure non-Wilsonart products are included and updated into CRM tools.
  • Work closely with operations and sales to ensure order set points, inventory levels, and promotional materials are managed appropriately.
  • Manage and track launches and promotions ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial objectives.
  • Oversee the distribution process, including sample distribution and full-scale product
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • In-depth understanding of product lifecycle management and distribution strategies.
  • Familiarity with managing products within a CRM platform (preferably Oracle), with broad understanding launching new product categories.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to perform cost analysis and create pricing quotes based on research.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 
EDUCATION: 
Bachelor’s degree is Business, Marketing or similar field.  Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted in place of educational requirement.
 
EXPERIENCE:  
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or a related field.               Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
•    5+ years of experience in product coordination
•    Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
•    Experience in the building products and manufacturing industry is a plus.
•    Travel: Approximately 25% travel required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.
 
ENVIRONMENT: Located in a comfortable indoor area.
