Digital Marketing Specialist Job Description

Wilsonart is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Temple, TX Marketing team. We are searching for an ambitious self-starter that is ready to roll up their sleeves and support their team through website development and digital content management. We are searching for a problem solver that is comfortable in ambiguity with ability to establish process from the ground up. Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for managing the implementation of digital user experiences across digital platforms and technologies.
  • Articulate Wilsonart’s brand attributes and ensure they are incorporated into user experience development
  • Monitor competitive initiatives and evaluate industry trends and best practices
  • Use available digital metrics and project specific metrics to optimize consumer experiences. Familiarity with common Key Performance Indicators found in content management organizations.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop best in class user experiences and web page templates. Listen and seek alignment both within your functional and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist where necessary to identify and solve any issues / bugs which arise during implementation or launch.
  • Experienced product manager with a passion for optimizing processes and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Responsible for managing the implementation of digital user experiences across digital platforms and technologies.
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization of ongoing responsibilities with critical product launches and issues.
  • Ensure project communication is occurring so that all impacted parties have correct and timely updates on project scope and status.
  • Handle requests and thoughtfully communicate across teams, understanding how and when to engage key partners.
  • Superb organizational skills and a solid track record of handling projects in a clear and well-documented manner.
  • Manage customer engagement on all Wilsonart social media channels. Triage customer questions and comments.
  • Understand social media marketing and best practices
  • Familiarity with Social Media Management tools such as Salesforce Social Studio, HubSpot, Hootsuite, Sprout, or Sprinklr

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years of website management experience: Magento, WordPress or similar platforms
  • Proven background in collaborating with IT teams and ability to provide clear direction
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Analytics and reporting: Google Analytics or Datorama

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Product management experience using Agile and A/B testing methodologies
  • SEO and coding experience
  • Marketing Automation:  Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Experience in social media management platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sprinklr or similar platforms
  • A/B testing tools: Google Optimize or Optimizely
