Lay-up the treated core paper according to the directions given by the Head Layup-Corestock. Performs other tasks as required. |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
· Count the proper amount of Core Papers/Core Stock for the production run. · Lay-up the material necessary for the run. · Inspect the run for visual defects. · Document the proper information on the run. · Prepare the station for the new run. · Maintain a clean and safe work environment. · Work as Head Lay-Up Person in his/her absence. |
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES |
· Ability to understand · Ability to follow directions. · Skill in hand-and-eye coordination. |
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS |
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent knowledge. Plus one year of work history. |
WORKING CONDITIONS |
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium work –Tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling materials of 20 to 50 pounds. |
ENVIRONMENT: Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness. Examples: engineering, waste mgt, laundry workers and yards/grounds staff |
