Kitchen Assistant Manager

Location: Dash In - Chestnut Hill (Newark, DE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Hours | Includes Some Nights, Weekends, & Holidays
Pay: $22–$27 per hour, plus an additional $1/hour for overnight shifts

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Kitchen Crew: Recruit, train, and motivate your team to deliver high-quality food and outstanding guest service.
  • Own the Operation: Oversee daily food prep, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
  • Drive Results: Support store goals by managing inventory, controlling costs, and finding creative ways to boost sales.
  • Delight Guests: Ensure consistent food quality and fast, friendly service that keeps customers coming back.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with store management, operations, and training teams to keep things running smoothly and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay Audit-Ready: Maintain compliance with Dash In standards, safety regulations, and health inspections.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent -or- ability to complete employer-paid GED program; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in food service, retail, or operations.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Flexible schedule — able to work days, nights, weekends, or overnights as needed.
  • Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • ServSafe certification and financial management experience are a plus!

Availability and Travel

  • Full-time, up to 40 hours per week with some overtime as needed.
  • Training and work are conducted onsite at your home store.
