Job Purpose and Function
The Dash In Pricebook Analyst II is responsible for supporting and optimizing pricing systems, promotional execution, and Pricebook integrity across Dash In retail operations. This position serves as the technical subject matter expert for Pricebook configuration, pricing governance, and system quality assurance.
The Pricebook Analyst II performs daily price setup and promotional execution while also leading root cause analysis of systemic pricing discrepancies, establishing quality assurance standards, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. This role partners closely with the Pricebook Manager II to ensure pricing accuracy, margin optimization, and operational consistency across POS, Made-to-Order Kiosks, Loyalty platforms, and back-office systems.
The Pricebook Analyst II provides technical mentorship to Pricebook Analyst I and serves as the Manager II designee for technical matters when needed.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Daily Price Setup & Promotional Execution
- Execute daily price changes, cost updates, and item setup to ensure accurate and timely system configuration.
- Lead setup, implementation, and validation of monthly and quarterly promotions, markdowns, and temporary price reductions.
- Review complex promotional configurations prior to deployment to ensure margin protection and system accuracy.
Item Integrity & System Governance
- Maintain ongoing item integrity and data accuracy within Pricebook and related systems.
- Establish and maintain pricing governance standards and documentation.
- Monitor pricing and cost discrepancies, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective action.
System Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing protocols prior to system updates and promotional launches.
- Lead user acceptance testing for POS, Kiosk, Loyalty, and related system enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve system configuration, automation, and workflow efficiency.
Margin & Pricing Analysis
- Perform advanced margin and pricing analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and value leakage.
- Recommend pricing rule improvements and process enhancements to support profitability goals.
- Support rebate validation and ensure promotional activity aligns with financial reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Category Management, Marketing, IT, and Accounting to ensure pricing accuracy and operational alignment.
- Support small-to-mid scale system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in vendor communication related to pricing discrepancies and EDI transmissions.
Team Support & Mentorship
- Provide technical guidance and training to Pricebook Analysts.
- Review complex item setups and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as escalation point for advanced system or pricing issues.
- Act as Manager II designee for technical support during absences.
What We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent progressive experience will be considered. Experience independently managing smaller initiatives. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a retail Pricebook or related pricing systems environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), with advanced Excel skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-unit retail operations.
- Experience with PDI, POS systems, Loyalty platforms, and ERP integrations.
- Experience leading system testing cycles or small project initiatives.

Availability and Travel
- Hybrid Schedule 2-3 days in office (Tuesday-Thursday, with Wednesdays as a flex day based on business needs).
- Tuesday through Thursday, reserving Monday and Friday as work-from-home.
- Occasionally, business needs may require periodic work obligations outside of core business hours.
- This role may require occasional travel, including overnight stays for training, conferences, or other events with reimbursement available for approved accommodation and/or expenses.
- This role requires utilization of your personal vehicle for travel; mileage reimbursement and/or vehicle reimbursement programs are offered by Wills Group accordingly.
- This employee will be expected to aid with store openings and or closings as well as store resets, and grand openings.
