SUMMARY:

The Administrative Floater performs a variety of duties including providing assistance for the Store Receiver, Store Systems Integrator, Store Artist, In-Store Educator and other positions/teams as needed.

DUTIES:

- Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. Follow all Whole Foods Market (WFM) guidelines for meeting customer needs.

- Help create signs, flyers and other marketing materials while adhering to regional graphic guidelines.

- Work with Team Leaders and Store Leadership to ensure that Team Members are current on necessary trainings.

- Help perform all product receiving functions; inspection, counting, temping, weighing and data entry of all ordered products using IRMA and or Store Ops.

- Help to support all in-store applications, including, e-mail, basic PC/MAC, Kronos and network. Instruct Team Members on these systems when applicable.

- Help to support all in-store equipment, including PC?s (hardware/software), printers, scales, scan guns, modems, time clocks and registers.

- Help maintain baler, compactor, and all environmental areas in proper working order; tie bales, call for can pickup; direct service team to areas requiring attention. (Age requirements may apply)

- Use courteous and proper etiquette when answering the phones and pages.

- Work a variety of shifts.

- Attend team and store meetings as assigned by Team or Store Leadership.

- Perform other duties as assigned by Team or Store Leadership.

- Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.

- Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Working knowledge of MS Office applications and scanning pricing systems with demonstrated technical aptitude.

- Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectful manner to fellow team members and customers.

- Meets all customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors and fellow team members.

- Highly organized with excellent follow through and attention to detail.

- Able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple roles and projects. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Working understanding of and compliance with all WFM quality goals, and thorough product knowledge.

- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures related to duties and responsibilities.

- Working knowledge and application of all merchandising expectations within the department with a specific focus on attention to detail.

- Proper use knives, personal protective equipment, forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, six wheel carts, baler (Age requirements may ap) and all other equipment used during preparation and clean up within department and store.

- Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
