We are looking for a mid-level UI/UX Designer to synthesize business and user needs into effective online experiences that utilize marketing, usability, and ecommerce best practices. As a designer at Whitepages you will play a key role on the Growth Marketing/CRO and Product teams, working across the entire consumer experience from digital ads to checkout pages to emails.

  • You think of data and testing as allies in creating the best possible user experience
  • You share our belief that product design and marketing design go hand in hand in creating a product that enhances the overall user experience
  • You get excited by juggling designing for web/iOS/Android apps, marketing funnels, and landing pages
  • You know how to get someone from “what’s that?” to “I must have it!” with smart marketing designs
  • You’re able to prioritize, plan, and deliver high quality projects on time
In the UI/UX Designer role you will:
  • Create rapid prototypes and multiple concepts; knowing when to make low-fi sketches/prototypes and when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail
  • Use metrics and testing to inform design decisions to improve our website KPIs and overall customer experience
  • Research, identify, test, and execute on design solutions such as:
    • How can we use design and messaging to entice a desktop user to download our mobile app?
    • How can email design contribute to customer satisfaction?
  • Create digital advertising assets, emails, flows, interactions, and landing pages that deliver strong conversion rates
  • Collaborate with marketing, PMs, engineering and other designers
  • Understand and adhere to the Whitepages brand while providing outside the box ideas
Our ideal designer will have:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, UI/UX, visual design - ideally in-house with a B2C company
  • Strong online portfolio featuring your experience as a UX/Visual Designer
  • Proficient with web design tools (Sketch, Invision, Adobe Suite, Zeplin etc.)
  • Knowledge of online marketing design best practices and experience with A/B testing
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as marketing, design, product, research, engineering and copywriters 
  • Self-directed with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Open-minded, collaborative and able to incorporate constructive feedback
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
