We are looking for an experienced Photo Production Manager (m/f/d) to set up a new Product Imagery department by improving existing processes, setting operational and creative guidelines and hiring the necessary team.

In this role, you will set-up and lead operational teams to create best-in-class product imagery at scale. You will deliver innovative imaging solutions, scale production to meet high volumes, and drive greater efficiency while maintaining quality. 

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Assess the state, processes and quality of the existing eCommerce photo studio in Poland and propose changes based on your industry knowledge of best practices
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and implement improvements to the current Photo production processes in order to create contemporary and inspirational product images
  • Support the Creative Lead in creating shooting guidelines for each product category and ensure those guidelines are properly executed and brought to life on set
  • Ensure creative teams are appropriately resourced and equipped to deliver against business and operational objectives
  • Once the studio output and quality have been brought up to the satisfactory level, continue leading this high-volume commercial studio
  • Meet operational goals and metrics, building reports and providing status updates on key metrics
  • Create and manage budget based on forecast and target metrics
  • Anticipate changing priorities and implements plans (staffing, space planning, equipment, etc.) to meet business needs
  • Create external partnerships with vendors/agencies to leverage resources and cost advantages, negotiating contracts as needed

You come with:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in organizing high volume commercial shoots
  • Industry expertise and the know-how of best practices in photo and video production
  • A creative mindset, passion for operations, process improvement and innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of workflow including prioritization, planning and task delegation under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities; ability to clearly communicate with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
  • Negotiation skills and fluency in English is a must. Further languages welcomed
  • Willingness to travel

Location: Munich, but occasional travel will be required
