Description

As Operations Business Controller (m/f/d), you will work directly with the Management team to optimize our fulfilment cost. Based on analyses of the actual costs and performance KPIs, you will identify and implement cost improvement initiatives. You will also support management and drive efficiencies in day-to-day business decisions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • own the local logistics cost business plan and analyse actual deviations from plan in detail
  • identify and drive efficiencies in operational day-to-day decisions 
  • ensure a good level of financial control over costs and spending
  • identify the improvement opportunities and jointly with the local team drive their implementation 
  • support local management by creating financial and operational KPI transparency
  • continuously work with the central Operations Finance team to further develop our performance management instruments

YOU COME WITH

  • minimum 3 years of experience as a Business or Financial Controller in a fast-paced and metrics-driven environment, ideally Warehouse Logistics / eCommerce
  • excellent intellectual analytics combined with a drive to push improvements to the bottom line
  • ability to see big picture work and develop structures and processes as well as be able to deep dive into details of issues
  • a communications style that makes you connect easily with a wide variety of people, from senior managers to warehouse operators
  • advanced knowledge of MS Excel
