Weston is seeking a Quality Control Manager that is the designated on-site individual responsible for the overall management of Contractor Quality Control and has the authority to act in all CQC matters for the Contractor. Employed by the prime Contractor, this position is always present at the site during construction and manages all quality control activities, including the three phases of control, required documentation, inspections, and testing personnel.

Expected Outcomes
- Provide effective, continuous on-site leadership of the Contractor Quality Control program throughout construction.
- Exercise authority to act on all CQC matters for the Contractor and maintain accountability for overall quality management.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate the three phases of control for applicable features of work.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely quality control documentation required by the Contract.
- Coordinate required inspection and testing personnel to verify that work complies with contract requirements.
- Maintain qualified coverage through an approved alternate whenever the primary Quality Control Manager is absent.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated CQC Manager within the on-site work organization and manage all Contractor Quality Control activities.
- Act with authority on all CQC matters on behalf of the prime Contractor.
- Always remain on-site during construction, subject to approved alternate coverage.
- Manage and coordinate the preparatory, initial, and follow-up phases of control for applicable features of work.
- Coordinate inspections, tests, testing personnel, and other quality control resources required by the Contract.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit required CQC documentation and quality records.
- Communicate quality requirements, observations, deficiencies, corrective actions, and follow-up expectations to project personnel and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project management, superintendents, safety personnel, subcontractors, testing agencies, and government representatives.
- Identify quality concerns and verify that corrective actions are completed before affected work proceeds or is accepted.
- Identify an equally qualified alternate in the CQC plan to perform the role during the Quality Control Manager’s absence.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
- Minimum of four years of construction experience on work similar to the requirements of this Contract.
- Demonstrated ability to manage an on-site Contractor Quality Control program and coordinate multiple quality activities.
- Knowledge of construction inspection, testing, documentation, deficiency tracking, and corrective action processes.
- Ability to manage and coordinate the three phases of control.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and quality control procedures.
- Strong leadership, organization, documentation, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, testing personnel, and government representatives.
- Ability to maintain a full-time on-site presence during construction.
Alternate Quality Control Manager Requirements:
- The CQC plan must identify an alternate who will serve during the primary Quality Control Manager’s absence.
- The alternate must meet the same education, construction experience, and qualification requirements as the primary Quality Control Manager.
- The alternate must be prepared to assume the same authority, duties, and responsibilities whenever serving in the role.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
Salary Range: $81,549 - $107,791 - $133,824
