Description

WESTON is seeking a Project Manager to manage engineering design projects in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  The Project Manager is a front-line client-focused leader who works with clients to understand project needs and manages teams to deliver services to meet those requirements.  The Project Manager is responsible for building teams of technical staff and sub-consultants to execute work, maintaining quality and risk management processes to keep work on track, and delivering according to scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager is also responsible for networking with clients to identify and define projects and develop/negotiate proposals. Candidates must have demonstrated Project Management and technical experience with industrial clients and with some experience in managing wastewater, storm water and facility engineering/infrastructure projects. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental or mechanical engineering
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in the field of engineering design, including water/wastewater design and facility engineering.
  • Project management experience, including project financial management responsibility
  • Strong entrepreneurial interest to engage clients to identify and win new projects
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability convey technical presentations
  • Ability to recruit, build, mentor, and foster a team as an emerging leader.
