The position is an excellent fit for a highly motivated leader who enjoys working in a high-paced, deadline driven environment.  This position is for a self-starter who enjoys managing a team but can also contribute to the development of written content to differentiate Edgenuity’s LearnZillion and other core programs in the competitive state adoption and bid process. As the Core Adoptions & RFP Director, you will collaborate with the Director of Field Operations and Enablement and other internal teams in creating engaging and accurate responses to state level and open territory adoptions. You will support the development of bid language, positioning and provide support for other sales related initiatives.  Core K12 Adoption Industry experience and a curriculum background are a must for this position. All office-based employees or employees meeting face-to-face with other employees are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

A Day in the Life as a Core Adoptions & RFP Director

In this role, you`ll have the opportunity to manage sourcing of proposals and responses specific to our services, including management of timelines, writing new content, organizing content, and positioning related core materials in the K-12 education space.   You will be responsible for ensuring that there is a match between the customer`s goals and objectives and Edgenuity`s product and services. The Core Adoptions & RFP Director will have exceptional writing skills, project management skills, and ability to understand the educational industry and are willing to engage in and contribute to ensuring that our bid responses are effective, complete, and accurate and meet all bid deadlines.


-          Minimum Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant field and 8+ years of experience in K-12 adoptions and/or state approvals; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

-          Must have experience in the K-12 education textbook market in management of textbook adoption process along with previous experience as an RFP/textbook director.

-          Experience in designing and developing compelling RFP strategies.

-          Attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

-          Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and peers that are not under direct control.

-          Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

-          Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-          Self-motivated, results-driven with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency.

-          Coaching and development skills.

-          Expertise in business software applications and design (such as Microsoft Office applications, PowerPoint, Adobe, Engagement Tools, etc.).
