Supply Planner
Description
Manage parts inventory to achieve target service levels and fill rates while controlling inventory investment
Set and maintain replenishment parameters: reorder points, safety stock, min/max levels, lead times, lot sizes, and planning policies
Analyze usage trends to reduce stockouts, backorders, emergency freight, and excess or obsolete inventory
Identify and act on opportunities to disposition, transfer, or return dead and slow-moving stock
Partner with warehouse and branch teams to ensure inventory accuracy, proper storage, and timely cycle counts
Investigate discrepancies and stockouts, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Monitor that receiving, put-away, replenishment, and transfer transactions are completed accurately
Review demand patterns, seasonality, and equipment lifecycle changes to adjust stocking strategies
Evaluate inventory across all locations — warehouses, field vans, lockers, and customer sites — to optimize positioning
Recommend inter-branch transfers and stock rebalancing to improve availability and reduce redundancy
Coordinate with procurement on supplier performance and lead time management
Manage branch inventory performance to meet KPI targets using BI dashboards and analytics
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across inventory, warehouse, and supply chain processes
Stay current on industry best practices and emerging supply chain technologies
5+ years in materials planning, supply chain, or a related role; or a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Operation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Advanced Excel required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); Power BI proficiency preferred
ERP experience required; SAP S/4HANA experience a plus
APICS certification a plus
