National Trainer - eLearning

Home Office Kirkland, Washington


Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced National Trainer, eLearning to support our associates, grow along with them, increase their skills, knowledge, performance, and enhance their careers.

This individual will create, facilitate, and administer Weidner approved eLearning training and participate as a member of the company wide training team. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality and professional integrity. This position is located in Kirkland, WA.


  • Design, develop, and facilitate eLearning and live-online training classes in the areas of operations, leasing, CRM software, company culture, compliance, property management basics, customer service, and related areas
  • Author, prepare, augment, and enhance in-house eLearning training content
  • Review, augment, and enhance third-party eLearning within the company LMS
  • Administer various functions within the company LMS
  • Facilitate Web-based classes for best practices for current users
  • Assist in the development and execution of web-based training videos
  • Plan for emerging training trends and technologies; prepare for new modules, sessions, and/or classes on an ongoing basis
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Integrate fully into Weidner’s Team-based culture
  • Assist in creating new or revised training programs with the goal of maintaining updated and relevant industry capability


  • 3+ years of experience as an eLearning author using Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, and/or other eLearning authoring tools
  • Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or related degree
  • Relevant eLearning and/or Instructional Design certification(s)
  • Proficiency in LMS such as Cornerstone or similar
  • Successful Instructor-led and Virtual Lead Delivery
  • Strong Course Development Skill set
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Instructional Design experience and/or certification desired
  • Property Management Industry Experience desired
  • Approximately 25% Travel
