Weidner Apartment Homes is currently searching a Concierge to work at one of our apartment communities.  A successful candidate will be one that greets all residents, helps to answer all resident questions about the neighborhood, provides directions, reservations, and performs other duties as needed. 

The responsibilities of this position are:

  • Demonstrating a professional attitude in all interactions with residents and their guests
  • Warmly greets and acknowledges residents and their guests pro-actively offering assistance
  • Researching local area dining, entertainment, shopping options, etc. in order to answer resident and guest questions about the neighborhood
  • Providing directions, recommendations and reservations when requested
  • Picking up and delivering items as requested
  • Ensuring cleanliness of common areas and entrance areas
  • Possessing knowledge of emergency procedures and assist/respond accordingly when necessary
  • Showing guestrooms as needed
  • Practicing safe work habits
  • Performing other duties as requested by management

Qualifications include:

  • Availability to work flexible hours and days
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of the local community, attractions and events
  • Must agree to a criminal/credit check and a voluntary drug test
