Finance and Commercial Analyst  
Reports to the SVP of Finance & Sr. Finance Manager

PERFORMANCE  –  Setting new standards

  • Assist with preparation of loan requests to prospective lenders, including documentation, preparation of rental analysis and property budgets
  • Assist with property financing process from loan application to approval through closing to ensure favorable rates, terms, closing costs, and timely loan closing
  • Obtain and manage documentation from internal and external parties including construction documentation, loan information, title, appraisal, and engineering reports.
  • Attend to requests for information from lenders including debt covenant calculations and other requirements under various loan agreements
  • Provide general accounting and commercial lease support to Commercial team
  • Perform ad hoc projects and analysis for Finance and Commercial teams when needed.

Customer Service – Responsive management and maintenance . . . 

  • Actively participate in a positive team environment through teamwork, communication and excellence in service; communicate regularly with the VP of Finance & Acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain mortgage industry contacts with knowledge of alternative lending resources and structures.
  • Assist lender in obtaining necessary supplemental information including Certificate of Occupancy, pay-off information, and subordination agreements, title reports, engineering reports, environmental assessments, contracts, laundry leases, property inventory and utility letters.

Qualifications:
  • Four year Degree in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate
  • Excellent math skills, strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
  • Working knowledge of economics and the impact on financial and real estate industries.
  • Able to maintain a high degree of confidentially.
  • Experience in commercial mortgage banking or real estate related industry is a plus.
  • Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing.
  • Valid and current driver’s license.
