National Trainer

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze, create, and deploy appropriate learning solutions for property operations that best suit audience needs and impact performance improvement;
  • Train new and existing employees on procedures related to Yardi, LRO and other technical software systems using varied delivery solutions including but not limited to instructor-led in classroom and via virtual, e-Learning, blended solutions;  
  • Work closely with training, operations and systems support teams to ensure that training content is aligned with current processes and work flows;
  • Provide support to field and corporate office personnel to address knowledge and training gaps that may exist, including coaching with answers of support tickets;
  • Oversee and facilitate the learning environment setups for classroom, webinars, and offsite venues;
  • Collaborate with training team and other departments to create innovative and well-written content and job aids;
  • Develop company-specific training materials and include in our LMS system (Cornerstone OnDemand);
  • Conduct content analysis and identify existing learning materials that may be leveraged or modified to support learning needs;
  • Design and deliver engaging learning approaches that leverage an array of learning strategies;
  • Balance innovation with pragmatic view of how to implement and reinforce learning solutions;
  • Travel approximately 60% to offices and sites located in the United States and Canada.


Summary of Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software training and development;
  • Proven, demonstrated expertise in Yardi Voyager and ancillary modules;
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications abilities at all levels;
  • Design, presentation and facilitation abilities;
  • Ability to deliver training in-person and virtually to diverse audiences and group sizes;
  • Ability to communicate with technical team members and develop training that can be understood by non-technical individuals;
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal abilities;
  • Exceptional supportive coaching/mentor abilities.
