Wee Care Day School is a licensed childcare center seeking Summer Camp Teachers to support our summer school age program.       
     
      
     
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, CDA or higher, 18 years of age, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! This is a full-time, seasonal position.       
     
      
     
Employment Dates: position begins 6/17/24     
     
      
     
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, various positions available     
     
      
     
Compensation:$14.00 - $15.00 per hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:       
     
  • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate using current curriculum guides.       
  • Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.       
  • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.      
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.       
  • Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.      
  • Provide additional supervision of children during field trips and off-site activities.       
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.      
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.      
  • Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
