Candidate Overview

We’re looking for an engaged and motivated individual to join our Project Management team. You will work amongst a team of Project Managers who are responsible for the successful execution of all our client projects across Medscape and Medscape’s /Alert Marketing affiliate. You will become part of a winning culture, collaborate with a talented team of internal stakeholders, and grow project management skills. You will manage projects through their full lifecycle, seeing the programs all the way through to its successful launch with the highest level of quality and efficiency in support of client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of web-based promotional media for Medscape Promo and Medscape’s /Alert Marketing affiliate
  • Own and manage all required project processes
  • Manage key relationships with outside medical consultants, internal editorial resources, Studio, Production, Creative and Marketing departments
  • Prepare overall program & technical specifications
  • Create and communicate project timelines to Sales & Production & Programming
  • Track and monitor financial data and budgets
  • Schedule & lead internal kick-off meetings
  • Aggregate initial program requirements and timelines and gain approval from all required parties
  • Coordinate medical & legal review with advertisers to gain approval of all final deliverables
  • Manage the workflow from contract signing through successful online distribution
  • Effectively communicate all necessary project status with respective Editorial, Production, Copyedit, Creative and QA team members
  • Provide support to editorial and CMS and assist in deadline management
  • Translate client priorities and expectations clearly across internal development teams
  • Focus on high-quality client deliverables and error-free launches
  • Manage acceleration requests and timeline negotiations
  • Escalate potential project issues and delays to senior team leaders
  • Work with internal departments across Medscape and /Alert Marketing to streamline processes for more efficient executions
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Up to 1+ years of combined digital, marketing, agency and/or healthcare experience
  • Up to 1+ years of project coordination, traffic, or project management experience
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills, highly organized, independent yet collaborative team member
  • Able to simultaneously manage projects and deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, account and partner management and team-building skills
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills
  • Passion for customer service and for ensuring that our physicians and clients have the best experience possible
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, responsible and results-driven, solid communication skills
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills utilizing MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and/or task management systems like Workfront and Jira
  • Knowledge of internet technologies
  • Knowledge of marketing-related creative process (marketing or agency experience preferred) a plus
  • Experience with medical/legal review process within pharmaceutical industry a differentiator
  • Experience with pharma clients a differentiator
  • Experience with MS Project or Workfront a differentiator
