Description: WebMD Marketing Solutions team is seeking a marketing manager to join our team in NYC. The role is responsible for pre-sale support for WebMD Point of Care includes the vetting, development, scoping and strategic storytelling of a high volume of advertising solutions and sponsorship opportunities across point of care in-office collateral and digital products.

Candidate must have the ability to think creatively and communicate ideas that deliver for client needs (Predominately for pharmaceutical clients and advertisers in other categories such as non-profit and consumer packaged goods). Additionally business depth and acumen are critical to interface with WebMD executives and build successful relationships with partners across all functions.

  • Work with sales on all pitch requirements 
  • Partner with sellers to create proposals 
  • Understanding client needs, timing, and rationale for specific tactics 
  • Follow pre sales SDR/SDRR processes 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to scope and vet out all deal specific needs 
  • Advise on general timing and assets specs for tactics chosen to get ahead of launch execution 
  • Qualifications:

    • Strong listening skills with the ability to translate concepts into deliverables
    • Must be comfortable handling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and have the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Minimum 6 year experience in marketing or sales for a publisher or media agency; knowledge of print preferred. Point of care is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Advertising preferred
  • Knowledge of Pharma and CPG business preferred
  • Working knowledge of advertising agencies
  • Comfort and familiarity with highly matrixed cross function departments
  • Working experience with salesforce or another CRM program
