Position Description:
Located at the client site in Cayce, South Carolina, the Well-being Program Manager (PM) will work collaboratively with the designated client’s health promotion team and WebMD account team to raise awareness of the onsite programs and the WebMD products and services that enable it. This position is primarily onsite, with travel to other locations required up to 25% of the time.
The PM plays a key role in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy. They provide strategic guidance, support program planning, assess impact, and oversee service coordination and promotion. Proactively identifying opportunities for service enhancement and improvement, PMs collaborate with Client Services, Account, and Product Management teams to refine processes and develop innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in health promotion, health communications, and/or population health management.
In this role you will:
- Plan and execute onsite events such as health fairs and local wellness initiatives.
- Lead weekly meditation sessions, stretch breaks, and other onsite wellness activities.
- Assist with various onsite wellness screenings (flu clinics, biometric screenings, blood pressure checks , etc).
- Lead a weekly onsite walking group.
- Coordinate and facilitate well-being meetings, webinars, and internal/external communications.
- Promote the programs and services provided on the WebMD portal (health coaching; daily habits; medical premium credit; podcasts, etc)
- Co-manage the Wellness Champion Network
- Collaborate with employee resource groups to promote health and wellness programs.
- Build relationships and gain support from key stakeholders.
- Provide location-specific recommendations for well-being initiatives.
- Support program evaluation, performance reviews, and wellness strategy development.
- Oversee project management for ongoing wellness programs and promotional events.
- Develop and maintain schedules to ensure the effective execution of health education programs
Qualification, skills, and experience
- BA / BS in health-related fields required.
- Minimum of 5 years Wellness Coordinating, or similar client-facing experience required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, and computer skills
- Familiarity with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
PREFERRED:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic and stressful environment.
- Strong understanding of behavior change theory
- Strong program planning skills
- Business and technology services experience.
- Professional presence and technical credibility to interact with senior-level customer contacts.
