POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Milwaukee, WI

Located onsite at the dedicated client, The Well-being Program Manager (PM) will work collaboratively with the designated client’s Global Benefits and Wellness Team and WebMD account team to raise awareness of the well-being programs around the world and the WebMD products and services that enable it. The PM will work with and be a resource for the regional and country wellness leads as they plan health promotion activities, including those sourced from additional vendors.


The PM is responsible for supporting client satisfaction, retention and reference-ability. They will act as a customer advocate, as well a point of contact with senior stakeholders to increase participant engagement and maximize value delivered through the WebMD relationship. They provide thought leadership and support program planning and impact assessment, as well as coordination and promotion of service.

PM’s will proactively identify opportunities for service delivery enhancement and improvement of global well-being activities and programs. As opportunities are identified, they work with other Client Services staff, Account and Product Management to improve processes, and develop new solutions.

The successful candidate may plan/conduct an indicated number of onsite learning sessions per year. This schedule will also be planned, with appropriate goals set, alongside the designated client, within the implementation stage of onboard. The PM will work with and be a resource for the individual employer units in their health promotion activities. The successful candidate will have a background in wellness program management, health and wellness promotion, benefits, and/or human resources.

In this role you will:

  • Focus primarily on the promotion and support of programs outside the US
  • Provide ongoing project management for current global, regional, and country-specific wellness programs and promotional events for client globally and/or WebMD
  • Coordinate the delivery of corporate, regional, and country-specific well-being initiatives
  • Increase awareness and engagement within global markets in client-wide well-being offerings
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to global stakeholders
  • Provide ongoing program performance review and health/wellness strategy support
  • Provide recommendations and referrals to appropriate client well-being resources and work to integrate those resources and programming into the WebMD portal
  • Provide recommendations for improved culture of well-being at designated locations
  • Establish relationships and buy-in from key global stakeholders
  • Provide recommendations for well-being initiatives by global location
  • Assist in the delivery and coordination of Health Improvement, Health and Wellness Programs and Challenges for client team members
  • Assist with gathering, creating and editing materials related to the health promotion programs for benefits communications
  • Coordinate the flow of information and materials between WebMD and client
  • Coordination of meetings and other communications (internal and external)
  • Own the Wellness Champion Network, both in development and ongoing support of well- being initiatives
  • Help support improvements in healthy lifestyle behaviors and overall well-being of client employee population
  • Work closely with all client vendor partners where applicable to support all well-being events and initiatives
  • Work closely with client resource teams (i.e. Corporate Social Responsibility, Employee Resource Groups, etc) on the support of regional and county-specific initiatives as well as the WebMD Engagement Specialist to develop calendar and scheduling of events tied to on and off campus programs and activities for maximum engagement.
  • Develop and maintain schedules necessary to support the successful execution of client well-being programs
  • Support WebMD Health Services product and service line expansion
  • Support process improvement and service model design efforts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA / BS required, MPH is a differentiator
  • Professional Certification from National Wellness Institute (NWI), The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), or the equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 5 years Well-being Coordinator/Program Management or similar client-facing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years delivering healthcare information products and services, especially consumer-facing interfaces and Health & Wellness (H&W) administration.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate environment required, especially consumer-facing interfaces and H&W administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of behavior change theory.
  • Strong program planning skills.
  • Business and technology services experience.
  • Potential to travel to other client locations outside of Wisconsin quarterly.
  • Professional presence and technical credibility to interact with senior-level customer contacts.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

PREFERRED:

  • Cross-cultural knowledge/experience along with the ability to engage with staff at all levels and geographies of the client organization strongly preferred.
  • 10 years Wellness Coordinator/Program Management or similar client-facing experience preferred
  • 10 or more years of delivering healthcare information products and services, especially consumer-facing interfaces and H&W administration, preferred.
