As our Marketing Technology Platform Architect, you’ll be working to provide technical implementation of various aspects of our email and marketing platforms. We’re looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial technical lead who’s willing to roll up his or her sleeves and own the architecture and integration details of such platforms. Our ideal candidate should be structured, detail-oriented, analytical, driven to get work done and able to collaborate with multiple teams using a common marketing automation platform. This position requires you to maintain multiple tracks of work and communicate solutions to other members of the team both verbally and in written documentation. This is a technical role, and though a Manager level, managerial responsibilities have been minimized in order to focus on the technical competencies required.

Job Tasks

  • Design relevant multi-channel/multi-tactic architecture diagrams, schemas, and documentation to support the recommended approaches 
  • Implement scalable solutions that work across multiple business units and platforms
  • Run point for all technology and integration efforts with the email platform, both internally and with the vendor.
  • Review technical specs and ensure completeness in support of campaigns and requirements from multiple business units.
  • Leverage other platforms and systems to provide advanced audience management, targeting and personalization capabilities.
  • Implement testing strategies (process, unit, stress, etc.) to validate adherence to specifications and ensure quality and functionality 
  • Outline key performance objectives and methodologies for measurements of success

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading the implementation of complex digital marketing solutions across Site and Email for large corporate environments
  • Experience working with Adobe Marketing Cloud including Adobe Campaign, Experience Manager and Analytics Cloud.
  • Experience producing project estimating, scope definition, resource allocation, and project timelines 
  • Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical details in layman's terms as well as present solutions to executive management
  • Experience in Technical/Campaign Workflows, knowledge in external account configuration, offer management, data schema, Adobe configuration 
  • Expert knowledge in HTML, xHTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient with the ability to drive intelligent and creative solutions.
  • Expertise in Message Center including Real-Time/Batch email/SMS & push functionality 
  • Knowledge in template creation 
  • Knowledge in Adobe Campaign reports 
  • Expertise in SOAP & Rest API to interact with other upstream/downstream systems 

Preferred

  • Experience Cloud Architect or Business Practitioner Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) certifications

Education/Certifications:

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering. Or equivalent experience (in addition to base experience requirement)
