Position Overview

This position serves an important role in managing and maintaining WebMD Provider Services video assets. The Content Solutions Manager works closely with the Video Content Manager, as well as the Video Production team, clinicians, and medical illustrators to develop market-appropriate content product bundles and topics/approaches for new titles, plus review scripts and videos in development.


Responsibilities

  • Helps assess customer and market needs for health, wellness, and patient education video and print resources through customer and market interviews, surveys, focus groups, internal feedback loops, and data analysis.
  • Ensures video content is clinically accurate and complete through a documented internal and external medical review process, content updates when warranted, and metadata review.
  • Provides ongoing editorial guidance and input regarding video structure, style, approach, and tone to ensure that product goals are met. In conjunction with clinicians and other content experts, reviews videos and provides input on accuracy and appeal at various stages.
  • Assists with presentations of content solutions and organization representation to internal and external clients, including in-person and remote sales calls and tradeshow attendance.
  • Helps to research and evaluate market trends, applying findings where relevant to strategy.
  • Develops content bundles (products) and presents them in various platforms based on market needs.
  • Supports sales and customer adoption of content solutions through training and presentations.
  • Works effectively cross-functionally to:
  • Produce new/edit existing content via our production team
  • Help identify and work with potential healthcare sites for video shoots and patient stories.
  • Inputs, tracks, and updates various data pertaining to content in our content management system.
  • Supports the Video Content Manager to set and monitor project schedules. Ensures that projects meet specifications and are delivered on time.
  • Helps to support sales, outcomes management, and customer service through training, recommendations for solutions for sales inquiries, and provides direct support with customers when requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or similar field from a 4-year college or university preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in content creation and licensing. Subject-matter expertise in consumer health is strongly desired.

Other requirements

  • Knowledge of digital workflow
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfort level and working knowledge of database entry and management
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and project management skills
  • Experience in defining project requirements and quality assurance
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple, simultaneous video health education projects from start to finish with strong attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative and interested in sharing knowledge and subject expertise with team members
