WebMD Global/Medscape are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our Global Marketing Solutions department. We are looking for talented individuals with strong business development experience for a marketing and sales support role-- this is not a direct-selling role. This position can be based either in New York City or Mexico City, and reports directly to the Associate Director of Global Marketing Solutions.  The primary role is to provide day-to-day sales support within our Global Professional Business sector (i.e. The Medscape Professional Network). Our Global Marketing Solutions team supports over 14 Professional Sales Reps and their customers spanning Global, European, and LATAM brands in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Device industries, as well as Pharmaceutical and Interactive Ad Agencies. The ideal candidate will have pharmaceutical physician marketing and digital advertising experience, with a keen ability to oversee multiple areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide support for all sales cycle related functions, including proposal and presentation collateral
  • Partner with Sales to create smart proposals for both custom digital campaigns and turn-key solutions that accomplish pharma brand objectives and engage users
  • Manage a queue of requests to create digital marketing campaign strategy, guarantees, and pricing models (configurations)
  • Thorough knowledge of the technical details and strategic positioning of Medscape’s suite of products, to educate Sales team and reinforce value proposition and market positioning of Medscape’s product offering, marketing data, and new marketing initiatives
  • Liaise between Sales and all other Professional Network internal departments, e.g. Inventory, Media Planning, Program Delivery, Business Intelligence, Product, etc. to meet needs around custom presales requests
  • Understand and manipulate data to support marketing audience construction and analysis
  • Manage Salesforce process to enter sold campaign information for clear communication and transfer of information to program execution teams. Manage all campaign revisions and reconfigurations
  • Own and manage updates to the product portfolio’s pricing rate card and configuration model
  • Review all deals that pass through the organization with the responsibility of vetting accuracy of financials, guarantees, and contract language
  • Manage and update special Marketing Solutions special projects to create efficiencies and provide clearer communication and processes

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2+ years in online healthcare marketing, and/or business development experience
  • Background in a digital advertising agency in healthcare, or pharmaceutical brand marketing experience
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Team player with superior organizational and relationship building skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task, reprioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely detail oriented and accuracy focused, with an interest in data analytics and fluency with numbers
  • Ability to learn and adapt to rapidly evolving business needs.  Must be able to navigate conflicting interests, identify the most pragmatic solution, and improve upon existing processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite
  • Bilingual—fluency in English and Spanish

  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of the global and/or LATAM healthcare marketing space
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
