The Role

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and analytical skills to join our Business Intelligence team, based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. We also have an office in Central London and the team are currently working in a hybrid manner with working from home the norm on a day-to-day basis.

The role will normally report to the Audience Data Manager. However whilst she is currently on maternity leave, this role will report directly to the Group VP, Business Analytics and Data Services in New York.

WebMD UK’s multichannel brands provide evidence-based content and educational projects on clinical guidance to healthcare professionals. Although an understanding of the NHS’s structure is not required at the outset, the Administrator will be expected to gain this knowledge as part of the role. They will need to monitor the changes to the NHS, feeding back anything learnt to the team.

You will gather information regarding NHS organisation and their personnel for inclusion to our journal mailing lists. Data gathering can be done in a variety of ways including online research and telephone calls. The Researcher should use their judgement to decide which is the best method for each dataset and enter data into our database.

The succesful candidate will need to investigate our audience data by creating complex Business Intelligence queries, validating our audience and cleaning up any data under GDPR rules. They will also need to be able to work with multiple database systems to facilitate the creation of complex email mailing lists as well as monthly journal mailing lists.

  • An understanding of Filemaker and Dotdigital is not required but would be an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of GDPR
