Job Location:  395 Hudson Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10014; Telework permitted.

Job Type:        Full Time

Duties:  Work with stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements; define and document development solutions for applications based on requirements; work in an agile scrum environment to implement user stories; work with a distributed development team to deliver projects in a timely fashion; develop solution using the VueJs front end framework, CSS, HTML, XSLT; setup CI/CD pipelines based on established standard practices; develop automation unit test cases and end to end test cases using Cypress and mochajs testing frameworks; work in a docker and Kubernetes containerized environment; establish best practice for teams to follow on developing and testing using TD; perform code review of code to ensure it meets requirements; coordinate on development tasks with remote teams both onshore and off shore; and keep stakeholders apprised of development progress in a timely fashion.

Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following: experience in software engineering; experience with all phases of SDLC; front end languages including  Javascript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX; experience with server side languages including Java, Ruby, and Python; experience using source code control systems including Stash and GitLab; experience with database technology including MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB; Test-Driven Development (TDD) and DevOps concepts; and experience working with remote teams.
