Role Overview 

The Associate SDET supports quality assurance and test automation efforts for Salesforce implementations and related integrations. This role works closely with senior SDETs, QA engineers, developers, and admins to execute test cases, assist with automation scripts, and help maintain test coverage across the project lifecycle. 

Test Automation & Frameworks 

• Assist in creating and maintaining test automation scripts for UI, API, and data validation under the guidance of senior team members. 
  
• Support automation using Selenium WebDriver with Python or Java for Salesforce testing scenarios. 
  
• Help analyze requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios and test data needs 
  
• Contribute to automated test coverage for Salesforce customizations, configurations, and integrations 
  

Quality Engineering & Testing 

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity test cases 
  
• Log, track, and retest defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence 
  
• Assist in preparing test reports, execution updates, and quality summaries for sprint reviews 
  
• Collaborate with developers, admins, and QA teammates to validate fixes and support release readiness 

Required Qualifications 

• 0–2 years of experience in QA, test automation, or software testing 
  
• Basic understanding of Salesforce concepts such as objects, fields, workflows, flows, and validation rules 
  
• Exposure to Selenium WebDriver or similar test automation tools 
  
• Familiarity with Python or Java for basic scripting 
  
• Basic understanding of Git and Agile development practices 
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 
  
• Willingness to learn automation frameworks, testing tools, and Salesforce testing practices 
  

Preferred Qualifications 

• Exposure to Salesforce Administrator concepts or certifications 
  
• Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking tools, or CI/CD concepts 
  
• Experience with data loading or test data preparation tools 
  
• Internship, academic project, or hands-on experience in QA or automation
