Education: B.E. Computer Science/IT degree (or any other engineering discipline)
Experience: 5+ years

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with database development on Oracle, MSSQL or PostgreSQL
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with big data databases such as Vertica, MongoDB, Snowflake or HDFS/HIVE
• Experience in programming using Python or Java
• Familiarity with Ad stack and data (Ad Servers, DSM, Programmatic, DMP, etc) will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Web analytics or Business Intelligence is good to have
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl is good to have
• Experience in shell scripting languages - Bash or Bourne is good to have
• Experience with the ETL tools such as Pentaho or Talend will be an added advantage
• Expertise in implementing data model and ETL/ELT processes
• Excellent communication skills and organizational skills

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and support multiple data projects in traditional relational databases such as Oracle, MSSQL and PostgreSQL as well as non-traditional database such as HIVE, Vertica and Snowflake
• Analyse business requirements, design and implement required data model and ETL/ELT processes on your own
• Connect, integrate, join different datasets and databases
• Translate complex technical subjects into terms that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences
