Job Summary:
MedscapeLIVE!, a division of WebMD, is seeking a skilled and creative Technical Producer to join our dynamic team. Based in Europe, you’ll play a central role in producing high-quality live, virtual, and hybrid events; with a strong focus on streaming production, video editing and technical event execution.
This is a client-facing position, and you’ll frequently collaborate directly with clients and on-site talent. You must be fluent in English, confident in managing pre-production workflows, and comfortable representing the team during high-profile events.
We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, brings a proactive mindset to planning, and is fluent in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, vMix, and Zoom. You’ll work with a global team delivering impactful medical education experiences to healthcare professionals worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-production planning for live, virtual, and hybrid events; including timelines, tech specs, crew coordination, and asset management
- Produce and edit multimedia content, including educational videos, promotional reels, and conference footage using Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus)
- Operate vMix, video switchers and AV setups during events
- Manage PowerPoint switching, video playback, and audience interaction tools (e.g., ARS) during sessions
- Direct and coordinate live streaming/webinars using Zoom, Vimeo, On24, and other platforms
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and talent before and during events
- Work hands-on with internal production teams, vendors, and medical professionals to ensure flawless execution
- Maintain detailed project documentation and support continuous process improvement
- Support the setup, operation, and tear-down of video and AV equipment across studios, hotels, and conference venues
- Research and apply new technologies, including AI tools, to enhance workflows and event engagement
Who You Are:
- A proactive planner with excellent pre-production and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A skilled video editor experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop a plus)
- Technically confident using vMix, streaming platforms, and live production tools
- Fluent in English and comfortable communicating directly with clients and talent both virtually and on-site
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving instincts and adaptability
- A team player who is also a self-starter, capable of working independently
- Flexible with work hours, willing to travel internationally and work some weekends as needed
- Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and energized by producing events that make a meaningful impact
Requirements:
- 5–6+ years of experience in video production, editing, and live event execution
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro
- Experience operating streaming platforms: vMix, Vimeo, Zoom, Livestream, On24
- Proficient in setting up and operating AV hardware: video switchers
- Demonstrated success in producing live conferences, webinars, or hybrid events
- Solid command of organizational tools: Excel, Google suits, Smartsheet, Workfront
- Up to 50% travel (domestic & international)
