Under the supervision of Medscape’s Vice President of Global Product, this position is responsible for assisting in developing and executing multi-channel business-to-business (B2B) materials, a wide range of print and digital marketing collateral, and sales materials, and internal training efforts, all of which directly impact the revenue growth and market position of Medscape.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage response to heavy volume of sales and direct-marketing efforts, which frequently have quick turn-around for scheduled client meetings
  • Direct maintenance of an extensive library of PowerPoint presentations, including: updating data and information in existing decks, creating new decks (based on existing templates) and organizing decks in SalesForce’s Cloud 9 and SharePoint archive
  • Coordinate with in-house business intelligence group to support Global marketing efforts via interpretation and presentation of relevant data
  • Receive project requests from global sales staff, help clarify their needs and objectives, translate into a defined deliverable, document so that it can be clearly relayed to rest of the team
  • Assist Global Product lead with needs around Global sales support and marketing communications including Linkein strategies
  • Write, proofread and edit marketing copy, maintaining version history to ensure typo/error-free deliverables
  • Support global event presence, traveling to event to staff exhibit and manage on-site operations if needed
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Support in-house sales training efforts as needed
  • Help prepare regular report on achievements of marketing and in-house training department
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to craft positioning used across marketing efforts
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferably in biopharma, medical education/medical affairs, and/or medical education communication agencies
  • Copy writing experience that can be documented with work samples
  • B2B Marketing experience preferred
  • Strong Proficiency Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, especially) and SalesForce a plus
  • Education: BA/BS in marketing or media/communications-related discipline preferred
